Liz Grec
Australian born and raised, I moved to the UK in 2004 and have called it home ever since. My Mum had taught me the basics of knitting when I was young, and I’d had a play with making some squares after I finished studying at university. However, it wasn’t until moving to Derbyshire in 2014 where I really developed my love and passion for this craft.
I get so much enjoyment out of sharing my passion with others (knitters, and yet-to-be-knitters). I love to watch their skills grow, help them with their projects and learn from them. I started running knit & natter afternoon teas at Renishaw Hall in June 2022 with the aim of getting like-minded crafty people together in a beautiful location. It also gave me the opportunity to spend a whole day to sitting and knitting. The pop-up yarn shop, hosted by local independent yarn dyers, is a bonus to everyone!
Nibbles, Needles and Hooks became an independent yarn store late February 2023.
